This program is independently led by Napa Valley Farm Co-op and supported through CARE_FTL’s fiscal sponsorship. CARE_FTL provides nonprofit oversight and financial stewardship and is not affiliated with the Co-op in any corporate or operational capacity.
Senior Community Meal Program
The Senior Community Meal Program exists to support older adults who face food insecurity, limited mobility, and social isolation.
Many seniors live on fixed incomes and have limited access to fresh, nourishing food. Rising costs, transportation challenges, and the loss of shared meals can leave seniors eating alone or skipping meals altogether.
Through this program, Napa Valley Farm Co-op coordinates the sourcing and distribution of fresh ingredients that allow seniors to prepare and share meals. These meals are meant to provide nourishment, dignity, and connection, helping seniors feel supported and valued within their communities.
This work is community-led, relationship-driven, and grounded in care for those who have spent their lives caring for others.
